From May 5 to May 18, the Opelousas-Eunice Public Library will be one of 13 libraries in Louisiana participating in a nationwide U.S. Impact Study developed by the University of Washington’s Information School with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The anonymous survey will gather information about how people use free computers and Internet connections in public libraries. This will provide information to policy makers about how to best fund and support these services nationwide. To take the survey, click on the U.S. IMPACT link at www.opelousas.lib.la.us.
